Slite
Available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Searching your Slite docs through the Slite Agent is part of the Pro and Enterprise plans . If your workspace is on Basic (formerly Standard), you can still search and ask questions about your docs with Ask. You can check your plan under Settings > Billing.
As a Slite user, you can instantly search through all your Slite docs directly in the Slite Agent.
Connecting Slite as an agent source
Initial setup
You can use Slite as an agent source everywhere in the Slite Agent right away, without any manual setup.
The connection is seamless as no authentication is required; if your team is using Slite, then your Slite workspace will be indexed automatically.
How the Slite Agent indexes your Slite docs
What we sync
Slite Agent will index all documents from your Slite workspace, including attachments (e.g., PDF files).
What we don't sync
Slite Agent won't index the following:
- Collection attributes
- Comments
- Document history
Refresh rate
New Slite content is indexed in the Slite Agent automatically and will be available briefly after it's been created.
Metadata
To make your search results more useful, the Slite Agent automatically indexes metadata from your Slite documents, such as:
- doc titles
- doc URLs
- doc authors
- doc creation dates
- doc last edit dates
Access control & privacy
Slite members can only ask and search on Slite docs they have access to.
Doc permissions are checked in real-time to ensure users only see content they're authorized to view.
This ensures that your Slite workspace's security and privacy settings are fully preserved when searching through the Slite Agent.
